Miguel is a versatile guitarist and passionate teacher who is comfortable teaching all genres, with particular strengths in rock and jazz. Miguel studied at the Anderson Institute of Music & Performing Arts in 2014. Miguel’s teaching style is highly personalized and built around each student’s musical interests. He believes that mastering any style starts with strong fundamentals, using foundational techniques and historical roots as building blocks. Whether a student dreams of playing like Eddie Van Halen or exploring a new genre, Miguel focuses on developing skills step by step—because, as he believes, Rome wasn’t built in a day.
